A good skin care routine isn't just what you put on your body everyday but, is what you feed your body as well. I believe having a balanced diet contributes aton to your skins health, and understanding what foods might trigger certain breakouts.
As we entered into the new year I noticed the lack of breakouts that I had going on. I started keeping a simple but soild morning and night routine; also I noticed that my cravings for coffee limited. We know that coffee itself doesn't cause breakouts but the creamers and sugar inside can contribute to worsen your breakouts; And being someone who needed 2-3 cups a day, my skin was destined to break out.
then I began to use 3 products in the morning and 3 products at nights.
my morning products consist of a daily exolifate that isn't too harsh on my skin. I'm currently using Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser ( shop here ) to help unclog my very large pores and remove any dead skin/makeup from the day before that was missed, following with BLK. by Amina CC Serum ( shop here ) I have fell completely inlove with this serum. I rub it all over my face; from my eye lids and down to my neck. This CC serum helps reduces discoloration and adds vitamin c to your skin, then ending with a my morning routine with my Blue Nivea Creme Moistureizer. This is the only thing I have found to keep my skin extra hydrated in these cold weather.
At night my products change and I'm typically using my Elf Bounce Back Jelly Cleanser ( shop here ) this breaks down dirt and make up like no other without stripping my skin. I then sometimes use my toner ( which I know is up for debate right now ) going in with my Mario Badescu Alove, Herbs & Rosewater spray ( shop here ) and finishing my skin off with yet another BLK. by Amina product, which is her Detox Nightwear Cream ( shop here )
These simple sets are what works best for me right now. I am interested in finding an eyecream soon and a more natural day time moisturizer because I'm all for trying a few new products out. I still suffer with tiny breakouts, textured skin & hyperpigmenation but, with these sets I have seen a difference.
