Valentine's Day is tomorrow and many of you all are out shopping for your sweethearts, which is a very beautiful thing but did you ever stop and think about yourself? Now, It is definitely a great feeling when you are being appreciated by somone but do you know how to appericate yourself? ( Take a moment to think about it )
These are questions I had to ask myself, and to be able to unlock that part of my brain was very diffcult because I never really thought about the apperication I should show myself until last year.
The importance of learning self love will be one of the most fulfilling things you could do for yourself, being able to really make your ownself happy is something no one could do.
We as humans will do for others before we do for ourselves and that's anyone who is either a parent, significant other or someone who just has people in their lifes that they care about deeply but don't get so wrapped up in other peoples happiness that you lose who you are as a person and you no longer know what makes you happy. ( Im speaking from experience )
when we are more aware of our own happines it shows, taking steps towards making your life happy.
1. Removing Toxic energy - When you seperate yourself from toxic people you can see a change in your own energy, also identifying those toxic within yourself is also helpful and it change the way you think.
2. Being mindful of what you think - This ties back into number one. when you learn to stop overthinking every situation, the outcome will be better for you.
3. Talk to yourself - When I say Talk to yourself I mean say quotes that make you feel good such as " I am enough " " you got this " " I can do all things through christ that strengthens me " " you are brave " " I believe In you " these are just a few things that help motivate me.
4. Remember that it is okay to say no - Be selfish!! Not everyone deserves your time. there will be people who will try and make you feel bad for wanting better for yourself but they won't be able to accomplish that because your mind is set on you and what you deserve.
